The whole experience was so good! It’s in the old Santa Fe train Depot! Brick parking lot! Trains still pass. A quiet comfortable atmosphere with a candle on the table and fancy napkin folding. The steaks was amazing quality cut and cooked to perfection. I got the Twin medallions and my husband the Ribeye. My sides was salad and julienned veggies, and his was asparagus and salad.
The food quality was excellent. I really enjoy a good steak. If you like a good steak? I strongly recommend Gages. The best steak ever!!! Why? Truly very tender and oh how tasty! When our dinner was served, our waitress asked, if we would please check our steak quality? We did. My wife and I just looked at each other with a big smile...delicious. Twice baked potato and vegetables 😋. Go to Gages!
Food was good, not sure if anything besides the steak is worth the price! Had our rehearsal dinner here and the management was not helpful and was super rude when we asked about our dinner order.The serve tried her best and she was great however putting one person for a group of 50 is crazy. No one helped her so we were never upset at her but we were at her manger for being rude and disrespectful when we asked for the rest of the food! Multiple people were done eating before others got their food and had to ask multiple time for people food

There were 9 in our party and I think everyone generally very much enjoyed their food with the exception of two of us.
I was so excited to order the Veal Parmesan - which is served on fettuccine Alfredo and topped with marinara and mozzarella.
The marinara was nearly non-existent and it was very garlicky. I was disappointed. Also the shrimp etouffee was served over noodles. While both are interesting takes on those dishes, sometimes too different is....too different.
If I came back to this lovely restaurant I would stick to the basics.
Really exceptional spot. Our service was awesome and the food was tremendous. Great place for celebrations or just a good drink at the bar. The depot energy was also really neat. The weird bit was the hosting situation in the front which was a weirdly whatever experience especially for a Saturday night.
Delicious! We are in Guthrie for the weekend celebrating my birthday. Such a cute place! I had the pecan crusted trout with mushroom risotto. Oh my! It was all good, but I'll dreaming of that risotto and the tomato bisque soup! Absolutely delicious- go!

Went for our anniversary thinking it’d be nice to stay in town vs driving to Edmond or city. Spent about $100 but felt like it was a little too expensive for the meals we got in all. The cocktails were spot on, hubby got shrimp stuffed fish and I got chicken of France. Server was great. We got a complimentary dessert for the occasion. It may have been an off night….food just wasn’t as memorable as I remember. Prob should have stuck to steak. 🤷🏻♀️
Love eating here when we can afford to splurge. They also have specials through the week like chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans that is actually really reasonable for “real food”. Crab cakes are one of our favorites.
The place used to be the train station, and this added some charm, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was nice. The food wasn't that great. My s/o got the shrimp and grits for around $20 & it had good size chunks of unblended grits. He also wasn't very enthused with the taste as it was pretty bland. I had a blackened chicken Alfredo pasta & it was cooked it also was kind of bland. The artichoke dip tasted like it had been microwaved. We were both very disappointed with the cost vs. the quality of food we got, especially since it was pretty hyped online.
